Can someone explain the meaning of Lucas Wainright's lyrics to Hallelujah from the Shrek movie? I find them confusing.

Isn't it a great song? I agree, the lyrics can be confusing though. Essentially, it's using metaphors to talk about relationships.

The song was actually written by Leonard Cohen in 1984. The song has been redone many times, however. The great thing about the song is that everyone interprets it a little differently.

I got an immediate response saying that my credit card had expired. Actually, it was stolen and has been replaced. I just sent the info to just answer. I thought I had paypal, too, but please let me know if you haven't received notice of payment today. I don't know how long it takes them to update but I think it should be done right away.
